Our Story
Ten years, two summers
Koufonisia gave us the first one. Dordogne will give us the second.
Ten years ago, we celebrated our wedding on a small Greek island, with bare feet, warm wind and the people we love closest to us. It was simple, and it was perfect.
For our ten-year anniversary, we wanted something different. Not another formal event. A few days together. A private château. Beautiful surroundings. Long dinners. Swimming. Wine. Family. Friends. Memories.
So we looked for a place that could hold all of it at once, and we found Château de la Mothe: a restored 13th and 17th century château on its own island in Périgord Vert, normally reserved for weddings and private celebrations.
From 2 to 5 August 2027 it will be ours. Come as you are, arrive hungry, and plan to stay up late at least once.
